| two months AFTER THE SESSION

My relationship with food has been long-standing. Difficult days and unwanted emotions would be white-washed with delicious, decadent treats. Despite my robust nutritional knowledge, food was my daily band-aid! 

I had been through the motions of psychiatric therapy, working with a dietician and incorporating wellness practices into my daily routine. But my ravenous gremlin reigned supreme. Finally, I reached a breaking point that manifested in a daily battle of knowledge versus the uncontrollable urge to eat and eat. 

So I reached out to Leandra for RTT. I was nervous and also quite anxious that I could not control such a basic urge. However, after meeting Leandra, I realised that I was safe, as she patiently and thoroughly prepared me for my RTT session the following week. 

My session gave me clarity regarding the psychology of my urge to eat – which has been my most powerful tool, and which I would NEVER have understood without RTT. As the days progressed, I diligently listened to my RTT voice recording and to my surprise, my eating habits changed. As the months have passed, making consistently healthy food choices has become progressively easier. Gone are the days of reluctant self-negotiation to decline a second serving or a sugar-coated treat! 

However, I still am a person and do indulge on occasion ;) But, RTT has made me more self-aware, happier and in control. I hope to explore myself further with the help of Leandra because I truly believe that RTT helped me regain my power.
